Evangelism
Sharing our relationship with God with others.
LIFE Groups are encouraged to reach outside of
themselves and touch our world for God.
Evangelism:
Most Christians would rather leave evangelism to a select few with "special talent" for outreach. But when Christ gave the command to spread the Gospel, He gave it to us all. Because He knew we'd each have something unique to offer as His witnesses to the world. In Evangelism, Bill Hybels helps you develop your own evangelism style -- one that fits your personality like a glove. You'll discover the meaning and importance of sharing your faith and learn the motivation and mind-set behind evangelism. You'll also get the solid guidance and seasoned tips you need to put it all into motion successfully. As you walk through this proven, highly effective approach, you'll find your hesitations melting into an enthusiasm for winning lost men and women to Christ. (by Bill Hybels)
Making God Known:
What does it mean to proclaim the Good News? Forget whatever preconceptions you may have of evangelism and concentrate on one thing: God's heart. A heart of inconceivable love for this desperate world. A heart that longs to embrace the angry, the abused, the broken, the sinful. In six sessions, Making God Known invites you to tap into that love and proclaim it with passion and power. You'll se why the gospel is good news indeed. You'll learn how to communicate it more effectively, discover the impact of prayer and of your own testimony, and find out how to share the gift of life in your own neighborhood and throughout the worlds. Living Encounters guides you on a journey to faith at the cutting edge. Prepare to meet Jesus in ways that will expand your paradigm of Christianity . . . liberate your spiritual passions . . . and fill you with joy and spiritual vigor. (by Youth with a Vision)

But Dr. Jack Hayford contends that, “in such times the Lord calls us to hear His voice.” And so, beginning with seven phrases uttered by Jesus on the cross, he constructs the model for godly behavior while enduring hardship.
