What is a our "Blueprint?" Simply stated, it's who we are. It's what we're made of. It's our DNA. All ministry at the Chapel exists to see the mission, vision, values and framework of the Blueprint fulfilled and growing in our church.
Our Mission
We live to connect people with God and we live to connect people with each other.
We are on a mission to fulfill the great commandments - "love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" and "love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:30,31) and the great commission - "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:18-20), so that people come into a personal, transforming relationship with God.
Our Vision
We will...
Bless God with expressive worship
resulting in the refreshing visitation of God's presence.
Bring people to new life in Christ
resulting in growth.
Bond believers into a spiritual family
resulting in a loving, accepting, and forgiving community.
Build Christians for their maximum fulfillment
resulting in releasing leadership, ministries, and gifts.
Birth churches around the world
resulting in a multiplying network of local fellowships.
We have a vision to become a healthy body of Christ: benefiting from the five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers (Ephesians 4:11); with opportunities for all believers to be equipped for ministry (Ephesians 4:12); "until we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." (Ephesians 4:15,16).
Our Core Values
We rely on the Bible as our ultimate source for all we do.
Bible-based preaching, teaching, discipling, training, and decision making brings godliness.
We cooperate with the Holy Spirit for supernatural power in all we do.
Welcoming and honoring the gifts, ministries, and manifestations of the Holy Spirit helps us accomplish God's will.
We give and receive God's grace with every person in all we do.
The undeserved favor of God, not our rules or religion, makes us acceptable and allows us to rest in God.
We apply standards of excellence in all we do.
Evaluating the beauty, quality, effectiveness, and glory of our efforts leads to continual progress in God.
We involve individuals in Small Groups in all we do.
Participation, relationships, and discipleship develop best in Small Groups that meet for godly purposes.
We exercise leadership gifts in all we do.
Recognizing and releasing five-fold ministries, leaders, and elders provides the best leadership in God.
We value the example of the Acts 2 church and honor each element that brings us to greater realization of today's expression of: "Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off ... Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.' Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about 3000 were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles ... they gave to anyone as he had need. ... They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:38-47)
